Sourcing Artwork
The art we buy and how we display it expresses a great deal about us
Whether for the home or work place, purchasing art can be a most enjoyable and worthwhile investment, the main criteria however, should always be buy what you like.
Purchased wisely art can significantly enhance your surroundings and your wellbeing as well as improve your bank balance. Buying without any understanding or knowledge, however, may result in the purchase of a worthless print that will likely fade over time, or the increasingly popular printed canvas which looks much like an original but isn’t! Preferable therefore to spend your money on an original artwork that will give lasting pleasure rather than a valueless and ubiquitous print.
Art like beauty is wholly subjective but I can help you find the perfect piece whatever your budget. At the same time you will have some understanding of the artwork and its creator and oftentimes the chance to meet or have correspondence with the artist.
”Alison Summerfield was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us source some Maritime art for our office. Indeed we ended up commissioning Robert Lloyd as a result”

"I’m thrilled Alison found us some fabulous paintings for our coastal home. A painting by David Atkins 'West Wittering' as well as a painting by Glyn Macey and Ray Balkwill. She was really helpful in sourcing the artworks for us and gave me the courage of my convictions. I am thrilled to bits.”
